B&T — Brügger & Thomet — was founded in 1991 in Thun, Switzerland, and built its reputation supplying suppressors and weapon accessories before growing into a full firearms manufacturer for military, law-enforcement, and special-operations users around the world. The company is known for Swiss-grade engineering and compact, highly controllable designs.
Its best-known platform is the APC (Advanced Police Carbine) family — the 9mm APC9 was adopted by the U.S. Army as its Sub Compact Weapon, and the line extends into .45 (APC45), 5.56 (APC223), and larger calibers. Alongside it sit the GHM9 and TP9 pistol-caliber guns, the precision APR bolt rifles, and the USW-A1, a pistol designed to accept a folding stock and red-dot for carbine-like control.
The suppressor catalog is where B&T's original trade still shows.
