Otter Creek Labs started in 2020 across two Kentucky garages, one for machining and one for welding and shipping, while both founders held down other work. They named the company for Andrew's grandfather, who attended the Otter Creek school in Otter Creek, Kentucky, and was rarely seen without a hat carrying the name.
That start never really ended. They run two buildings and six employees now, make almost everything in-house, and both owners still put hands on every suppressor built. It shows up in the engineering rather than the advertising. The Infinity ships with three end caps so back pressure tunes to the host instead of the other way around, the Polonium series builds flash reduction into the muzzle rather than a separate device, and tubeless welded bodies put the volume a tube would occupy toward sound reduction.
Coverage runs from a rimfire can made to be stripped and cleaned with an ordinary wrench, through 9mm cans built for carbines, subguns and handguns, to rifle cans rated for full auto and belt fed strings.
