About Savage Arms
Savage Arms was founded in 1894 by Arthur Savage in Utica, New York, and has spent more than a century building a reputation for accuracy at a working person's price. Its flagship Model 110 is the longest continuously produced bolt-action rifle in North America, and the introduction of the user-adjustable AccuTrigger in 2003 reset expectations for out-of-the-box accuracy in an affordable rifle.
The lineup is broad: the budget-friendly Axis, the American-made straight-pull Impulse, and a deep bench of rimfire rifles (Mark II, 64, A22, B Series, and the youth Rascal) cover everything from first rifle to long-range. Savage also builds shotguns — the 320 pump and 555 over/under among them — and entered the handgun market with the striker-fired Stance. Headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts, Savage remains a benchmark for value-driven precision. The company also owns the heritage A.H. Fox shotgun name.
